Gary See has a diverse background that will help prospective business owners find
the perfect franchise opportunity. He is in the unique position of having personally
experienced what franchise buyers are going through during his own career. He
understands firsthand how the process works and enjoys helping people achieve the
American Dream. Like many of his clients, Gary started in Corporate America working
with Andersen Consulting as a senior consultant in the New York City office and later                                                             at Mobil Oil at various management positions.

 In 1987, Gary took the equity in his home and decided to go into business for himself. He purchased a New York wholesale graphics supplier to the sign and display industries. Over the next ten years, he transformed the business into a full service tradeshow booth and graphics manufacturer. Because of his background in finance, Gary was fascinated with the process of helping people make the transition from corporate life into franchised or independent business ownership. So in 1994, he started a business brokerage company working with both independent and franchised businesses. He sold his tradeshow business in 1997 and relocated to North Carolina. Gary has also owned one independent and two separate franchise business during his career.

 For the last 19 years, Gary has focused on helping people find the perfect business or franchise. Early on Gary learned that corporate experience, while valuable, does not totally prepare one for the challenges of business ownership. He made the mistakes that many new owners make. Mistakes like where to market, how to market, who to hire, when to hire, etc. Learning from your mistakes is a good experience but can cost thousands of dollars. That is why Gary likes the franchise business model for new owners Because of the proven business systems and support, franchising is less risky and is often described as being in business for yourself but not by yourself.
